SMS Notifications & Messaging Terms

Dynacloud offers an optional SMS (text message) notification program that lets authenticated customers receive time-sensitive alerts about their own oil & gas wells and account. This page describes the program, how to opt in and opt out, and the terms that apply. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Program description

The Dynacloud SMS program delivers transactional, account-related messages to customers who have chosen to receive them, including:

  • Well-alarm alerts — notifications when a monitored well triggers a fault, alarm, or status change (for example, a pump-off event, a communication loss, or a critical-severity alarm) so field and operations personnel can respond quickly.
  • Account & security notifications — messages related to your account, such as sign-in verification codes, security notices, and important service updates.

This is a transactional, service-based program tied to your Dynacloud account. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program, and we do not sell or share mobile opt-in data or phone numbers with third parties for their marketing.

2. How to opt in

SMS notifications are strictly opt-in and are turned off by default. You will not receive any text messages from Dynacloud unless you affirmatively enable them. To opt in:

  • Sign in to the Dynacloud platform at app.dynacloud.io.
  • Go to Notification Settings in your account.
  • Enter and verify your mobile phone number, then turn on the SMS / text message consent toggle for the alert types you want to receive.
  • Enabling the toggle confirms your consent to receive recurring automated text messages at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

You can review or change these choices at any time in Notification Settings, and you may turn SMS off there without affecting email or in-app alerts.

3. How to opt out

You can cancel the SMS program at any time. Reply STOP to any message from Dynacloud to unsubscribe. After you send STOP, we will send a single confirmation message and then stop sending SMS notifications to that number. You can also turn SMS off in Notification Settings. To resume messages after opting out, re-enable the SMS toggle in Notification Settings.

4. How to get help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at sales@dynacloud.io. Replying HELP returns support contact information and a link to this page.

5. Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your account activity and the behavior of your wells — for example, how often your monitored wells trigger alarms and how many sign-in or account events occur. Because alerts are event-driven, you may receive several messages on an active day and none on a quiet day.

6. Message & data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Dynacloud does not charge for SMS notifications, but your mobile carrier may charge for messages and data according to your plan. Message delivery is subject to carrier and device availability; Dynacloud is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may vary and are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Sample messages

The messages you receive will look similar to these examples:

  • Dynacloud alert: Well Smith 4-2H triggered a PUMP-OFF alarm (critical) at 14:32. View: app.dynacloud.io. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
  • Dynacloud: Communication lost with well North Ridge 11 for 15 min. Check device connectivity. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
  • Dynacloud: Your sign-in verification code is 481920. It expires in 10 minutes. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

8. Privacy

Your mobile phone number is used to deliver the notifications you request and to secure your account. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile opt-in information and phone numbers are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
